What this page covers

These terms cover every website Turnkey Storefront builds or hosts. When you ask for a free preview, order a site or pay for one, you agree to them. If we sign a separate agreement with you, that agreement comes first where the two differ.

Turnkey Storefront is a sole proprietorship owned by Patrick McLemore, based in Texas, United States. "We" and "us" on this page mean Turnkey Storefront. Our mailing address is 6245 Rufe Snow Dr, Ste 280-1017, Fort Worth, TX 76148.

The free preview

• A free preview costs nothing. If you don't buy it, you owe nothing.
• We build it from what you tell us and from public facts about your business. It carries a preview banner, sits on our own web address, and is hidden from search engines.
• It comes down 30 days after we send you the link, unless you buy it. Until it's paid for, its design, the words we wrote and its code are ours, and you may not copy them.
• If you buy it, it's the Your Storefront tier at $900, or a higher tier if you want more.

What you buy

• Your Storefront, $900. One of the example looks with your name, colours, photos and words. Six pages, two rounds of changes, live in ten days.
• Your Look, $1,800. A look designed for you: you pick one of two or three directions. Seven pages, three rounds of changes, live in three weeks.
• The Works, $3,500. Everything in Your Look plus customer accounts, Stripe payments and a members mode. Ten pages, five rounds of changes, live in thirty days.
• The days count from the day we've got your business name, your hours, what you sell with prices, and your photos. A round of changes is one list of changes sent together. Extra pages and extra rounds are priced before we do them.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars and don't change during the build.
• Prices don't include sales tax. Where Texas law requires it, sales tax is added and shown on its own line.
• After a free preview: you pay the full price when you say yes and sign. We then finish the site with your changes and put it on your domain.
• Without a preview: the $500 deposit holds your place in the build queue and comes off the price. The rest of the price is due when the site goes live on your domain.
• If we can't take your project, we refund what you paid in full. If you cancel before the site goes live, we keep $500 for the work done and refund the rest.
• Before the site goes live, we send you the finished site to check. It goes live when you approve it by email. The price pays for the build, so once the site is live the price isn't refunded.
• Please email us before you dispute a payment with your bank or card company, and give us 14 days to put it right.

Hosting

• The first year of hosting and upkeep comes with the price, from the day the site goes live. It isn't a separate charge, so if you stop hosting during that year, no part of the price is refunded.
• After the first year, hosting is $50 a month, paid each month in advance. You can stop at any time by email before the next payment. We don't refund part of a month.
• When you stop, you choose: we send you a copy of the site and its data and help you move it, or we take it down 30 days after the last paid month.
• If a hosting payment is 30 days late, we tell you by email, and we may take the site down 14 days after that email.

Your domain

• If you already own a domain, it stays yours and stays where you bought it, and you keep paying for it there. You change its name servers to the ones we send you, so it points at your site.
• If you don't have one, we register it for you, in your name. A .com, .net, .org or .co that costs up to $25 a year is included for as long as we host your site.
• A name that costs more than $25 a year is yours to pay, at cost. We tell you the price first and buy it only after you say yes. If the name you want is taken, we suggest close ones that are free.
• When hosting stops, or any time you ask, we send you the code to move the domain to any registrar. A new domain can move 60 days after it's registered. After it moves, you pay its renewals.

What's yours

• Your name, words, photos, data and domain are yours.
• When the site is paid for, you may take a copy of it and host it anywhere. The engine it's built on is ours and we use it for other clients; you have a permanent licence to use it for your site.
• We may show your site as an example of our work unless you ask us not to.

What you promise

• You have the right to use the words, photos and logos you give us.
• You keep your site legal: licences, age checks, taxes, and the claims you make about what you sell are your responsibility.
• You keep your admin PIN private, and you tell us at once if it leaks.

Built with AI

AI writes code for every site we build. A person designs the look, checks every page on a phone and on a desktop, and sets the site up on your domain. A fault in the build is fixed free for as long as we host the site.

Limits

• We don't promise search rankings, sales, or the uptime of other companies' services such as Cloudflare, Stripe and Google.
• While we host your site, we keep a daily copy of its data for 30 days.
• Our liability for any claim about a site is limited to what you paid us for that site in the twelve months before the claim. We aren't liable for lost profit.

The example sites

The four examples on this site are fictional businesses. A booking or an order made on an example isn't real and is never fulfilled.

Governing law

Texas law governs these terms. A dispute that email can't settle goes to a state or federal court in Texas, and you and we agree to that court.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. A change doesn't affect a build that's already paid for. Questions go to hello@turnkeystorefront.com.
